Amazing honest service. I was in a rush to collect my car and didn’t realise that they had fixed damage to my bumper with out being asked to. They never do work that doesn’t need doing, and have helped me now on two occasions with minor repairs when I have rushed in there in a state!

I was in such a rush to collect my car before closing after having the cambelt done that i didnt realise my car had also been washed, and it was pretty grubby thanks to travelling to the stables and back.. Great cars, great prices and great service!!

The staff were polite and friendly on the phone, and we received a good greeting when we visited the garage. The car we’d come to test drive was ready for us, and were allowed to take it out for as long as we wanted – unaccompanied. Nobody was pushy, and our needs were listened to.

We bought my wife’s first and second cars from Autolink Portishead. They offered a fair exchange return on the first for the second car and both were excellent deals. The latter was a Toyota Aygo. They replaced the clutch before we drove it away, (it had reached its expected mileage limit) . The car developed a problem with some expensive pump or other just within three month warranty. They Put is right straight away with no fuss or hesitation. IT has been running well for over a year now. Got through its first MOT with us, without issue. As a service centre, it is reasonably priced and quality of service is good.

Hand-on-heart I can recommend Autolink without reservation judging from all the dealings I have had with them over the last five years.

Having recently bought this vehicle and having no Vauxhall dealership locally i was somewhat perplexed to see that i had an emissions warning icon light up which would require a diagnostic investigation to determine the actual fault. I need not have worried through this garage and the people there were extremely helpful i booked the car in for the following day and they quickly found the fault telephoned me explaining what work was required and the costs involved. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

We purchased the Suziki from this garage on the strength of the level of service we received on our Nissan Almeria also purchased from this garage. Bought my car about 10 months ago now and had great service from Chris. Explained things fully and patiently answered my questions. Car was ready ahead of the pick date which was great. I had a minor problem a few days after picking it up but the problem was sorted immediately and I’ve had no issues since.

A bit bit late on the review! I bought a car last year from here and have to say service and customer service were excellent. I only had one issue with the car and they sorted the problem out with no fuss or hassle and they were please to sort it. Would highly recommend buying another car here. We found Autolink though Autotrader when looking for a replacement car. They were a bit out of our way but the car looked promising. A viewing was easily arranged over email.

On viewing the car we were met by Simon who let us have a good rummage around the car and go for a test drive. He gave us some history of the car as they had been having dealings with it for a while. It was currently being used as a courtesy car for them.
We agreed a pick up date and paid a deposit, later paying the balance. The car was ready for collection as promised with the agreed problems attended to, discovered during the viewing.
In the next few days we noticed the car had a gearbox crunch changing from 1st to 2nd, but only with a thoroughly warmed up box. We hadn’t noticed it on the way home.

Simon arranged a date for us to take the car back, gave us a courtesy car whilst they were investigating the problem which eventually ended with a replacement gearbox.

The car has been perfect since the return.

Overall the buying experience was great and the after sales even better.
We would not hesitate to recommend Autolink based on our purchasing experience.

Now our three month warranty is up (no issues) I thought I would post a review. We tried to source a Honda Jazz automatic locally but couldn’t find one within our budget. Having done our online homework, I contacted AVS on the Friday to ask about a nice looking white Jazz and after checking it was still there Monday morning we set off to Portishead with our dog for the two hour journey, in our fifteen year old Focus. Although there was no commitment to buy, when we got there the car was checked, MOT’d and sanitised ready for a test drive, which we did. I’m over 70, I don’t like a hard sell and I only know to check basic things when buying a car. Simon instantly put us at ease. He’s genuine, loves his job and made the whole process stress free. The showroom was as it should be for Covid. We would recommend AVS and especially Simon, and although we headed straight home, outside lockdown, if you’re travelling a distance, Portishead looked a nice place to stop for lunch.
